United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Safety Classes

Boating safety classes are offered in the spring and fall.  The classes meet 1 night a week for 2 hours.  Classes run from 6 to 10 weeks.  Upon graduation, the student will receive a PA boating safety certificate.  This certificate meets the requirement for operating a Personal Watercraft.  Classes are beneficial to both the novice as well as the experienced boater.
